Cali
April 2012 - A semi-domestic, very protective, calico cat decided to raise her three kittens in a hole near the foundation of my house. After biting me, followed by 10 days of of care for her at the Hill County Animal League, we found a single home for all three kittens and had her neutered, vaccinated for rabies, distemper, etc. and took her home. And because I had to leave town during all this, I shared her pain by having a series of rabies shots before I left. We both survived. We didn't know if she'd hang around, but she did.
May 2013 - She's pretty much the queen of the house at this point, a lot healthier, and we're still trying to figure her out.
